FUTO Library is Open to all.

Our Patrons are welcome to use our facilities during opening hours.

FUTO Library was established in 1981.  In 1991, the library moved along with the university to its permanent site where it started at the Pilot plant house of the School of Science. The library houses three buildings namely the Library Phase 2A, Library Phase IV, and E-Library.

User Services

User Services Division is in-charge of providing resources and activities to address users need for information. These include from circulation services, reference services, online information services, inter-library loans etc.

Serials

Serials include newspapers, annual reviews, periodicals, journals, magazines. They are intended to be published and purchased and subscribed for indefinitely. The Serials Department is responsible for all functions related to obtaining and making serials available in the Library.

Collection Development

Collection Development Division is responsible for the way by which the library provides high quality information resources of print and non-print materials and provides access to electronic resources that will meet instructional requirements. These are the steps in Collection Development; - User needs analysis. - Policies development. - Selection. - Acquisition. - Weeding. - Evaluation
